MLP, Megan by CorsairOriginal MLP, Megan by CorsairOriginal
A small group of flying ponies (including Firefly, Northstar, and Wind Whistler) leave Dream Valley and enter the reality all of us know and reside in, and search for the a descendant of one of the royal families who had fled the realm when Tirek arrived. They find Megan, a seemingly ordinary girl growing up on a ranch. They tell her of their plight, and that she's their only hope, and grudgingly the girl agrees to join them. She certainly has little to say to argue with multicolored, flying, talking ponies.

So, with Megan in tow, the traveling party leaves. The rest of the ponies are charged with watching Dream Valley in case anything else should try to enter (now that their ancestors' seal is clearly broken), and so that others may follow to tend to the healing land once the reviving process begins.

Of course; there are two baby ponies who refuse to be out of the fun. Both Baby Lofty and Baby Lickety-Split sneak off as the traveling parties leave, determined to be a part of the adventure--though they will get a good deal more of it than they thought …

As far as notes on Megan, I didn't get the chance to color her, but I was intending to remove her Aryan perfection-ness from the original series. Now she's got tan skin (probably part Indian or Native American), and dark brown hair.

This episode,is what I was referring to?
14 "The Girl Who Dreamed Tomorrow" Karl Geurs September 8, 1984
The children find a cart from the Dungeons and Dragons ride and attempt to use it to return home. Before they can board it, they find a young girl named Terri who rode the cart into the realm. The girl happens to have a magical necklace which contains power that can predict the future through dreams. The children set out to find a magical portal found at the end of a deadly maze that can take them all home.

The similarity is there, but pretty minor. Who knows? A lot of early 80's characters looked very similar to me anyway.

Y'know..I believe they made "Megan" blonde,so as to make her different from a character who LOOKED JUST LIKE HER,in the Dungeons&Dragons cartoon. There was a dark haired girl in it,who looked awfully familiar....

Hmm, I'm not sure why I never got into the Power Rangers... Probably because it looked like the U.S. was trying to rip-off Japanese action shows... I didn't know back then that it actually used footage from Japanese shows! XD
